Started out a little sluggish, but picked up the pace as I went on. Went back to the old course. Cloverdale is still torn up, but it's back to being relatively flat without any deep holes.

The rain finally arrived. I planned on going ten this morning, but when Randy was done at 6.5, I just didn't have it in me. I'm a wus.

Rain again this morning. But the weather wasn't as cold, only 50 degrees, so I wore shorts and a ball cap. I don't know if I had more energy than yesterday. I just took a route that didn't afford me an opportunity to cut the run short.

Good run at a decent pace. I only did the first loop with Randy because I'm going long tomorrow.

Had a pretty good first lap, but wasn't really committed. I had some work to do at the house that had me debating whether to do a long run or not. So after the first ten, I went back out for another loop. I slowed down quite a bit and my breathing was kind of funny because of a little sore throat that came on. So I decided to call it done at 20.

Then, of course, I felt guilt for the rest of the day. But, I figure that if I consider a 20-miler to be phoning it in, I must be doing something right.
