Travel day today, so I went longer and later. Felt really good running this morning, held a good pace and felt stronger the further I went. Now, back to Colorado.

Good long hilly run. A bit more tired than yesterday. I'll go back to 10s for a couple more days next.

My achiles was bugging me today. Probably too much mileage front-loaded this week. It felt better by mile 8 or so. I probably should have cut the run short, but I didn't.

It was a pretty cold run this morning. Low 30s with a nasty breeze blowing at me on the way back.

I ran this loop in the opposite direction on Tuesday. It was steep uphill, followed by a long steady downhill. This time I had a long steady uphill followed by a steep downhill. I prefer the former. It was also quite cold this morning and I get slower as the week wears on.

Took 1st street to the end of town, then turned around and ran back. Now I'm done for the week. Travel day tomorrow and I don't run on Sunday. It's been a good week.

Colorado is now my 3rd most runned-in state since I started keeping track in the summer of 2007. Sorry Pennsylvania.
