| | Northampton, MA 8:30am Pace: 7:48 Decided to get off of the greenbelt and run around town. Got a nice taste of Mass. -- old farmhouses, a 1660s cemetery and a bunch of Elizabeth Warren campaign signs.

| | Boise, ID 9:30am Pace: 7:45 Bad news. So, I'm running along feeling good. Trying to get a few miles in before Saturday's race and at about 7 miles BAM my right calf starts to hurt really badly. Unfortunately I was 2 miles from home, so I walked the rest of the way. This doesn't look good.

| | Boise, ID 6:15am Pace: 8:17 I got up and got ready for the race two Saturdays ago and ran around the block. The calf started hurt really bad after a few hundred yards. So I didn't race and didn't run for over a week. This morning I decided to give it a try. It started hurting a little bit after about a quarter mile, but didn't get much worse so I kept running. Came home and iced it. Hope it heals soon.

| | Boise, ID 6:15am Pace: 8:08 I took yesterday off and went out again today. I still felt it in the calf, but never felt pain. Did 7 miles and didn't feel bad. I think I'm back. I hope I'm back.
