Good solid run. With about a mile left, a gnat flew into my mouth and right at the back of my throut. It hit me just right because the next thing I know, I'm gaging and dry-heaving at the side of the road. Good thing my stomach was empty or I would have puked all over the flowers.

9pm 3.1 Miles

Pace: 7:15

Didn't feel like running tonight. Stomach felt queezy and I twisted my ankle walking down the stairs. But I went out anyway and imediately started feeling good. Put in a good hard effort finishing 5 kilometers in 22:28.

Pace: 7:45

Good progression run. First mile was 8:23. Sped up gradually each mile until I was at 7:30 by mile 7. No bug swallowing this time.

Even better run than yesterday. 22:05 5k.

Dead tired this morning. Got out late, Only ran 5 miles, 7 seconds above goal pace. Such a loser.

Had to atone for phoning it in this morning. If I combine both of today's runs, I'm under goal pace, so I'll take that.

Top of Utah Long Run #4

Good long run. Got down to marathon goal pace by mile 8 and my last two miles were the fastest. Now I just have to decide if I'm doing another long run before the race. It's 4 weeks out, which seems like a long time. But, my only opportunity would be two weeks from now. Two weeks from race day seems a little soon. What to do, what to do.
